Asia-Pacific's digital equity NGO.

LiteHaus International is a Queensland-based NGO which bridges the digital divide across Asia-Pacific. We repurpose end-of-life computers and distribute them to students in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Fiji, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, and Kiribati, fostering digital education and bringing opportunities.

We have repurposed over 26,600 end-of-life devices to provide digital learning tools and opportunities to over 353,500 students.

Digital Inclusion Program (Australia)

A million students across rural, regional, and remote Australia do not own a personal laptop to learn with in the digital age today.

Our Digital Inclusion Program tackles the digital divide by providing high school students across regional and remote Australia with a device for free. Our core focus is First Nations communities, students with migrant or refugee backgrounds, and low-income families—those who are more prone to experiencing digital marginalisation.

Beyond school students, we also build digital capability among regional communities more broadly through communal digital hubs and by enabling digital literacy training.

We have provided over 17,549 students across Australia with digital access, reaching 87 communities nationwide.

Digital Infrastructure Program (Asia-Pacific)

Our Digital Infrastructure Program bridges the digital divide in Asia-Pacific  by installing digital classrooms with refurbished devices and a Niunet e-learning server containing 6.3 million educational articles in remote primary and secondary schools. We also provide digital skills training for teachers to ensure they are equipped with the capability to deliver quality education in the digital age.

We have completed 557 school computer labs across Asia-Pacific, providing digital learning opportunities to over 353,500 students.

Our multi-award-winning program has been recognised three times by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) as one of the world’s leading digital equity initiatives.

A quality education can only be digital in today's world. Millions of students don't have the tools to learn, dream and achieve in the digital age. We are changing this.
