Our Digital Programs

We work to ensure students, teachers and communities have access to the digital tools, resources and skills they need to learn, work and participate in an increasingly digital world.

Across the Asia-Pacific, many schools lack access to computers, reliable connectivity and digital learning resources, while teachers may not have the digital literacy and confidence they need to use digital tools effectively.

In Australia, many students do not have access to a suitable laptop or computer outside school, making it harder to complete schoolwork and participate fully in their education.

Our digital programs address these barriers by combining access to devices and digital learning resources with digital literacy training for teachers. Together, these programs help create the access, skills and confidence needed to make digital learning possible.

85% of teachers across the Pacific lack digital literacy skills, limiting their ability to integrate essential learning tools into the classroom. 

Our Digital Skills Training Program builds digital

capability amongst teachers through five-day

courses covering:

✅ Microsoft Office suite

✅ E-Safety Fundamentals: Cyberbullying prevention, digital wellbeing, misinformation

✅Introduction to AI: Foundational concepts and safe, practical classroom applications

✅ Basic Coding (Scratch)

✅ Building digital confidence through creative problem-solving

✅ Intensive digital literacy training courses for teachers

All teachers receive an 11-week digital skills curriculum to support ongoing lesson planning. After completing the training, teachers pass on their knowledge through in-service training, ensuring long-term impact in their schools and communities.
